1O Tips To Beat The Winter Blues

It's been quite the summer! Even though life has changed a lot in the last 18 months, this summer was definitely more relaxed than last. Baseball and summer sports went on as normal and only an odd one here or there sat in the fresh open space of summer, alone, masked. The pool was open! YAY! The lake was gorgeous and there was more sand on the beach this year. We were able to get away on our fun and adventurious Red River vacation with family. Sam has started college and the 3 other kids are also attending UN MASKED, and we are so praying it stays that way. The younger two are so happy to be back in a school environment with their friends and amazing teachers.

However, no matter how long we want to cling to it, summer is swiftly coming to an end. Football has started (although the weather isn't convincing yet) and befofe you know it snow will be on the ground.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!

Oh, by the way, did I mention I am not a fan of winter, snow, dreary days and cold? At least we still have Fall to look forward to, although over here on the Lake, we seem to get cheated out of a proper Fall and Spring. But that mighty Lake Michigan makes up for it. :)

In preparation to colds, viruses and the perpetual variants of the Greek alphabet, I wanted to share 10 tips you can do do beat the winter blues which will also help boost your immune system! When we take control of our health by being proactive, fear mongering seems to become more of a bad rash than an actual war tactic. :)
